One of my best friends Cait and her fiancé LOVE elephants. A few Christmases ago, they each got a pair of comfy looking pants with some elephant designs on them. Fast forward two years and I own five pairs.
The Elephant Pants is a company that prides itself on “saving elephants and feeling damn good while doing it”. 10% of net profits goes towards the African Wildlife Foundation which keeps elephants safe and educates others about the abuse that takes place. They started selling pants (which are so comfortable-especially because tightness on my hips tends to bother me a lot) and have expanded to tops, bags, and more.
After posting a picture on my Instagram of myself wearing a pair of elephant pants, TEP contacted me. With over 100,000 followers, they took the time to message me, thank me for supporting their company, and learn a little bit about me. They quickly told me to pick out not one but THREE pairs of pants…for free. I am so incredibly grateful that this growing company noticed that I appreciate their clothing (actually love them because if I’m not wearing elephant pants I’m in sweatpants and elephant pants make me feel a tad prettier). I asked how I could return the favor and they said I could be an ambassador if I wanted to. All I do is tell others the truth…that I love TEP.
